“ On Saturday May 4th. 2024 Our 2018 Toyota Tacoma broke down on the highway, with our camping trailer in tow, over 600 miles from home. We were towed to Straatmann Toyota and spent the weekend in their parking lot in our camper as they were closed for the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, we left them a voicemail message explaining our situation. First thing Monday morning, May 6th 2024 as soon as the service center opened, we received a call from Mark in the service center (we were still camped in their parking lot), to let us know he was aware of our situation. Within an hour or so, they had our Tacoma in a service bay and determined the fuel pump had failed and was under recall by Toyota. Mark ordered a fuel pump and offered us a loaner Tacoma to use for the day. We didn't think we would need it but he insisted and left the loaner by our camper and handed us the keys to it. The fuel pump arrived in the wee morning hours of Tuesday May 7th. At 9:00 AM Tuesday morning we walked into the service center and to our surprise Bart, the service technician working on our truck let us know he had just finished installing the fuel pump and was about to pull the truck out for a test drive. Secondary to this, there was a recall on the Tacoma's third brake light which they also replaced. Everyone we encountered at Straatmann Toyota could not have been more friendly, helpful, understanding, and professional. I want to thank Mark and Bart for the exceptional service they provided to complete strangers who they knew they would probably never see again. They realized we were stranded, hundreds of miles from home and did everything they could to get us back on the road quickly and safely (Bart even checked the PSI in our tires). By the way, if Mark or Bart read this, thank you for making us feel like family. Our trip to Arizona was a success. ”

No pressure, I told Lauren my high levels thoughts and also said "I'll pay for nice things that I like, but don't want to pay for things that don't bring me joy". “ Saved me from making an 8-year mistake! I went in, ready, willing, and able to purchase a Toyota Sienna hybrid van so I could travel back and forth to Orlando to see my son, and just sleep in the van, avoiding hotel rooms on the way there and the way back. I had a 2020 Hundai Santa Fe to trade in with low miles. The manager refused to give me fair market value for my car, stating KBB values were inflated on it, while still expecting me to pay full retail value for his Sienna, knowing full well that as soon as it's driven off of the lot, it depreciates about $10,000-$20,000. My Hundai is at 0% interest, and purchasing from them, I'd have to pay between 3-4% to the bank in interest on the loan. My Hundai also has a lifetime warranty on all parts and service, rather than the 360-month warranty they offered, so thanks Mr. Manger. Instead of making an 8-year mistake by buying your van, and purchasing something that will depreciate in value, we decided to refinance 2 of our properties, pull out the equity, and pay off 2 other properties, and they will continue to bring us years of rental income, something we probably wouldn't have been able to do if we had bought your car. I can still nap in the Hundai, I have twice now, so no big deal. Thanks again! ”

They seem to know as much as the Straatman people about Toyota's because they actually know vehicles,not just how to read sensor but listen to the engines rather than rely on their hourly rate to tell them the problem with a vehivle. ”

“ When for a front end alignment my vehicle was pulling to the right. Took it in, took them 2 hours and it was worse then before. Took it back, waited another 2 hours and service person Mark told me that the vehicle is supposed to pull to the right, they are made that way. I told him it never pulled that bad before and the steering wheel was moved to the left. He said we can fix that, but the computer says that the alignment was right. I told him if the steering wheel is pointed to the left that means the alignment is off. I told him that I was taking is somewhere that knows what they are doing. Wish I could give them a zero. ”
